For this part of the project, we were ultimately tasked with three different things:
After our instructor thought we had enough experience for some reason, we were given a partner exam where we were tasked with connecting a breadboard, resistors, and a battery to make an LED light flash on and off. me and my partner, Eryk Lewandowski, passed the exam and continued on with our next task.
Since we were done with the electronics experiments we began with programming. We were introduced to code academy. Code academy is a place where you can learn many different types of coding,
For this course we were tasked with completing the python section of it. We looked at the approximate course time and it said 13 *deep breath* days. So we buckled down and decided to get it over with.
At the beginning it was more difficult than i expected, but I got through it. Well, 93% of the way through it. The last 7% is what eluded me, but I plan on completing it over the summer.
There are many things we could have done better as a group and as individuals. Time management was a large issue, many times we waited until the last minute to get something done, and it could have ended up better if we had used our time more wisely.
We could have also improved upon the quality of our work. sometimes it wasn't the best we could do because, again last minute.
We did somethings well though. We helped each other very much during the coding and the electrical wiring.
Lastly, you presentation skills have definitely improved over the year, as shown through this project.
- Building a working set of ecologically-safe cardboard chairs
- Completing a series of electrical circuit experiments
- Completing a course of PYTHON programming
