photosynthesis lab
For this lab, we were tasked with finding out what variables would affect light absorption in a plants cells.
Hypothesis: I infer that that the more intense the wavelength of light is, the faster photosynthesis will occur.
Materials:
Data: the data we collected is compiled below in a table.
Hypothesis: I infer that that the more intense the wavelength of light is, the faster photosynthesis will occur.
Materials:
- black paper
- scissors
- 1 potted plant
- see-through blue paper
- see-through red paper
- iodine
- dropper
Data: the data we collected is compiled below in a table.
We viewed the leafs under iodine. We saw that the less covered a leaf or section was, the more photosynthesis was sped up. We noticed, that the most heavily covered receive the least light, therefore they went the slowest.
In this lab I learned more about photosynthesis. I dint know much about it except they've been teaching this stuff to us since 2nd grade. but otherwise, very informative.
